Adam A. James, EA, CFP®

Adam James is the Director of Tax at Diversified, LLC. In this role, he partners with clients to achieve their financial goals through thoughtful, strategic tax planning and compliance. Adam focuses on helping clients understand and feel confident in every recommendation, showing how each tax strategy supports their broader wealth management objectives. Adam began his career as an equity trader on the Philadelphia Stock Exchange and later worked in investment banking before transitioning into tax and financial planning. This move allowed him to combine his analytical expertise with a desire to help individuals and business owners make smarter, more informed financial decisions. Over his career, he has specialized in serving small business owners and high-net-worth families, proactive tax strategies with comprehensive, long-term financial planning. Adam earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Accountancy from California State University, Sacramento. He holds the Enrolled Agent and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ credentials. Outside of Diversified, Adam is active in his community, volunteering with his children’s schools, community theater, and his church. He and his wife Tori, live in Dover, Delaware, with their four children, dog, and parakeet.
