Worth The Moolah 2026 Version!

That’s right, folks, the wait is over! Get your wallets out and get ready to spend, because here comes my totally-worth-the-moolah 2026 version. For those newcomers, this is where I share all the things I’ve personally bought, used, or seen that I think are worth the money. They can be expensive things, cheap things, or everything in between.

You’ll see a little theme to this year’s list, but all I can do is share what products or services I truly loved since the last time you read this blog.

Without further ado, in no particular order, here are my top items!

1. Withings Scale — Okay, I’ve been on quite the health journey this year. Realizing I’m not getting any younger, and wanting a great quality of life for a long time, I’ve found the Withings Scale to be a huge help. Not only is it a super accurate digital scale — which I attribute to the single biggest catalyst of my growth — but it tells me all sorts of biometrics. My fat-to-muscle ratio, my heart rate, and a handful of other critical biomarkers get measured every day. It logs everything in a nifty app, so I can see trends along with notifications along the way.
2. Oura Ring 5 — I’ve been a big user and fan of the Oura Ring for years. I like the wearable tech stuff, and a ring is the least conspicuous version I know of. The newest ring is 40% smaller, which naturally makes it less bulky, and does a great job of keeping me motivated to focus on my health. I love the new one and highly recommend it for those looking for a little more monitoring in their life.
3. Eight Sleep — This one is super cool and one of my hands-down favorites. Let me know if this story sounds familiar: bedtime is approaching, and I’m sleeping on top of the covers with the fan on and the window open, while my wife is somehow wearing long-sleeve pjs, socks (which I think is sociopathic), and under five layers of blankets. Not sure how we can exist on the same planet together, but I do love the little lady. Anyway, the Eight Sleep is a bed covering with two zones that can cool my side while also heating hers. It also auto-adjusts during the night, presets the temperature you want your sheets at when you get into bed, and gives you a nifty report on your sleep quality, among many other cool benefits. Love this thing!
4. Toto Smart Toilet — Okay, time to get even more personal than letting you into my bedroom and bathroom. Time to enter the loo! I’ve been toilet-curious for some time now, and honestly, what advancements have even been made to the toilet since it moved indoors? I’ll tell you what: the Toto smart toilet is life-changing. No more cold toilet seats — it’s got a built-in bidet, fan, dryer, self-clean function, auto flush and open, and tons of other fun features. Biggest issue, besides the fact that these are all over the map cost-wise, is that when I’m not home, I have to remember toilets don’t open or flush themselves! There are tons of brands out there, from full toilets to simple seat toppers. Give it a go — your butt will thank me.
5. Claude Pro — If I told you that for $200 a year, you could purchase the greatest superpower you can imagine, would you? If you’re nodding yes, then I highly suggest getting Claude Pro. I use it for everything from prepping for big interviews to sanity-checking deal terms — heck, it even helped clean up this very list, so really the credit for #5 should go to itself. Just do it and start using the heck out of it. You don’t want to get left behind, and honestly, the more you use it, the more you’ll get hooked!
6. Dual Monitor — I can’t imagine how I worked without multiple monitors. It makes you so much more productive; it isn’t even funny. I love the one that plugs into my laptop and gives me two extra monitors to boost my productivity.
7. Turo — Think of Turo as Airbnb for cars. This app lets you rent someone’s personal car at insanely great rates. I truthfully hate renting cars when I travel, but when I’m forced to, I’ve been converted to Turo. I get to choose my car in advance, drive something fun, and have it waiting for me in short-term parking. I’d caution you to give it a few tries before judging — it has its quirks like anything else.
8. 3D Printer — Got my son one of these for his birthday; they’re actually quite inexpensive on Amazon. Let me tell you, his curiosity and the things he’s “making” himself are super cool. I’ve got a green tennis ball he created sitting on my desk right now. It’s a really fun thing, and he and his friends are having a blast with it.
9. Jim Kwik Speed Reading Class — I do a lot of book reading these days, who would’ve thunk it? That said, I was getting no faster at reading, and it was super frustrating. After taking this online course — after reading his book, of course — I now read twice as fast, and it’s awesome. Well, awesome for me, anyway, since that beautiful wife of mine hates it on so many levels. Oh well — this is my list, not hers!
10. Your Intentional Financial Life Book — Do you have no shame, Andrew? Guess not, as my final item on this list is my first foray into being a published author. The book is super easy to read and gives a good foundation for individuals in the personal finance space. It won’t make any bestseller list, but give it a shot if you can spare $20 and see what you think. At the very least, I greatly appreciate it and would be more than happy to sign it for you 😊!
