Scott Lavelle, CFA, CAIA, FRM joins Diversified as Chief Investment Officer. Scott brings more than 25 years of investment experience spanning proprietary trading, equity and fixed income portfolio management, asset allocation, and manager research. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Head of Investment Advisor Research & Investment Product Management at PNC Asset Management Group, where he built and led a 45-person team overseeing approximately $80 billion in traditional and alternative investments. He also served as President of PNC Alternative Solutions LLC.
Scott has been recognized as an industry visionary by Institutional Investor, has published in leading industry outlets, and has moderated panels at premier investment conferences. He holds a B.S. in Finance from Boston College along with the CFA, CAIA, and FRM designations. Scott lives in the Newtown Square area with his wife, Sarah, and 3 children, Sienna, Ben, and Luke. He grew in the Philadelphia suburbs, bleeds green, and his order of Philly sports is Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Flyers. A self-described fair-weather Flyers fan, he's fully jumped on the bandwagon during their playoff run. He's hoping for a miracle comeback for the Sixers, but not optimistic.
