Ed Lynch, CPA, MTVice President of Tax Services
Since 1987, Ed has worked for private companies in the healthcare and sports industries, in addition to working with small to mid-sized CPA firms in the Delaware and Pennsylvania area. In 2001, Ed formed his own practice with a primary focus on tax preparation/planning for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. His practice also provides controllership, bookkeeping, and accounting services as well.
As a member of the Diversified financial planning team, Ed is integral in driving maximum value as it relates to coordinating tax strategies with a client’s overall financial planning. It’s through this integrated approach of tax planning that he is able to enhance the overall experience for Diversified’s clients.
A native of Delaware, Ed graduated from the E. Claiborne Robins School of Business at The University of Richmond in 1987. Additionally, Ed received his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1989 and is licensed in both Delaware and Pennsylvania. Ed earned his Masters of Taxation from Villanova University in 1995 in his continual strive for excellence.
Outside of his professional life, Ed serves as president on the Board of Directors of the Wedgwood Swim Club, treasurer for the American Benefactor Foundation, and treasurer for Peace Drums USA. He is also a licensed United States Soccer Federation & PIAA referee, as well as a high school soccer coach at Villa Maria Academy. Residing in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Ed is married and has two children.
